چکیده

The use of plant extracts for biotechnical control root-knot nematodes is increasingly important. In this study, the efficacy three extracts, Thymbra spicata L. (Lamiales: Lamiaceae) (Mediterranean thyme), Plantago lanceolata Plantaginaceae) (ribwort plantain) and Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary), controlling Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White, 1919) Chitwood, 1949 (Tylenchida: Meloidogynidae) was examined. experiments were conducted twice with four replicates under controlled conditions at Laboratories Plant Protection Central Research Institute Ministry Agriculture Turkish Republic in Ankara, Türkiye 2020. prepared 1.2, 2.5 5%. egg mass number, height, fresh dry weight, root weight each evaluated pot trials. lowest number masses T. (100 ± 2.3) followed by R. then P. (104 2.6) (113 2.1). least effect observed 1.2% concentration (217 5.5).

Combined Nematocidal Effect of Nonacosan-10-ol and 23a- Homostigmast-5-en-3β-ol on Meloidogyne Incognita (kofoid and White) Chitwood

The synergistic effect of three phytochemicals, nonacosan-10-ol, 23a-homostigmast-5-en-3β-ol and cisand transprotopinium were assessed in four combinations and three concentrations (5, 50 and 100 μg ml-1) against Meloidogyne incognita, in vitro and in planta on the tomato cultivar Riogrande. Additionally, an in vitro phytotoxicity test on tomato seedlings was performed with the same phytochemic...

Evaluation of nematicidal activity of ethanol extracts of Euphorbiaceae plants and constituents from Euphorbia fischeriana to Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood

Ethanol extracts of 20 plant species (Euphorbiaceae) were assessed for nematicidal activity against the root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood. Out of these, four extracts: Croton tiglium, Euphorbia fischeriana, Leptopus chinensis and Ricinus communis caused 100% mortalities of the root-knot nematode at 1000 μg/ml for 72 h. The ethanol extract of E. fischeriana ex...

Nematicidal Activity of Leaf Extracts from Lantana camara L. against Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood and its use to Manage Roots Infection of Solanum melongena L

Various concentrations of aqueous leaf extract of Lantana camara were assessed in vitro conditions against second stage juveniles (J2) of Meloidogyne incognita. The standard concentration ‘S’ of leaf extract was found to be highly nematostatic, where nematodes were completely paralyzed after 12 h and after 48 h of exposure, 96% of juveniles were killed at same concentration. However, the mortal...

Screening Subterranean Clover (Trifolium spp.) Germplasm for Resistance to Meloidogyne species.

This study was conducted to identify lines of subterranean clover (Trifolium spp.) with resistance to Meloidogyne arenaria (Neal, 1989) Chitwood, 1949, race 1; M. incognita (Kofoid and White, 1919) Chitwood, 1949, race 3; and M. javanica (Treub, 1885) Chitwood, 1949. A collection of 134 subterranean clover lines was evaluated and all had intermediate to high susceptibility. Root galling was neg...
